The owner of vanished is Terry Houghland who has been a Genealogist since 1970. He also has a B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and anM.A. in Historical Museum Management from New York State University Oneonta.
His professional background in Museum Management has included: Chief Curator of the Dallas Historical Society, Executive Director of the Office of Cultural Preservation in South Dakota and Regional Director of the Arizona Historical Society.
His current area of Research is Institutional Records in the United States
